Charitable Status

The Institute for Communication & Dignity (ICD) is currently in the process of obtaining official recognition as a charitable organization under Sections 51 et seq. of the German Fiscal Code (Abgabenordnung – AO).

On 7 July 2026, the competent Nienburg Tax Office (Federal Tax Office No. 2334) issued a preliminary decision confirming that the Institute meets the statutory requirements for charitable status.

Legal Form

To provide the Institute with a secure legal and organizational framework, the founders resolved to establish the ICD as a non-profit entrepreneurial company with limited liability (gUG – gemeinnützige Unternehmergesellschaft (haftungsbeschränkt)).

The deed of incorporation was notarized on 13 July 2026 before a notary public in Neustadt am Rübenberge, Germany.

Transparency Notice

Under German law, the company comes into legal existence only upon its registration in the Commercial Register HRB 231214 (Handelsregister).

The application for registration was submitted electronically on 13th of July 2026.

The registration process has been completed on 14th of August 2026, Registration Court Hannover HRB 231214.
